A spokesperson for police stated: “We have been referred to as at 1.09pm on Friday, January nineteenth to Langley Lane, Goosnargh, to a report of a street visitors collision.
“Our officers attended and located {that a} van had been in collision with a pedestrian who was jogging.
“The jogger, a person in his 20s, was taken to hospital with neck and leg accidents.
“A 22-year-old man was arrested on Sunday (twenty first January) on suspicion of inflicting severe harm by careless driving and failing to cease. He has since been launched on bail pending additional investigations.”
