The Punjab and Haryana Excessive Court docket disposed of a Public Curiosity Litigation (PIL) searching for path to the respondents to make sufficient preparations for residents of India by giving freed from value entry for visiting Jang-E-Azadi Memorial at Kartarpur, Jalandhar as free entry is given to residents to go to different memorial together with Jallianwala Bagh Amritsar, Bhagat Singh Memorial Khatkarkalan, SBS Nagar, Virasat-e-Khalsa, Anandpur Sahib.
The PIL has been filed by one Nitin Mitto.
The Division Bench of Performing Chief Justice Ritu Bahri and Justice Nidhi Gupta famous that the petitioner has made representations dated 28.11.2023 to the respondents on this regard.
With out expressing any opinion on the deserves of the case, the petition is being disposed of by the Excessive Court docket by giving path to respondent No. 1 (State of Punjab) to determine representations dated 28.11.2023 by passing a talking order in accordance with legislation
