A set of off-road bikes inflicting a nuisance within the Broadgate space has been seized by police.

Preston Police had been on patrol throughout Tuesday (30 January) night and have become conscious of a motorcycle being ridden dangerously.
The bike – which was discovered to not be street authorized – was discovered within the again backyard of a property within the Broadgate space together with a quad bike which police say was concerned in incidents of anti-social behaviour in latest weeks.

Inspector Dave Byrne from Preston’s Neighbourhood Policing Workforce mentioned: “It’s good to see that two automobiles inflicting nuisance have been taken off the roads and are now not prone to trigger points for individuals going about their every day enterprise.
“We are going to proceed to deal with the problems and considerations raised to us by our residents and I’d encourage individuals to report these types of incidents to us in order that we will work to deal with them.”

Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden mentioned: “Anti-social behaviour is a blight on our communities and a problem that residents repeatedly increase with me, which is why I’ve made it a precedence in my Combating Crime Plan for Lancashire.
“I’m completely dedicated to cracking down on anti-social behaviour and I’ll proceed to work carefully with the Chief Constable to make sure the Constabulary has the assets wanted to get powerful on ASB and preserve our communities secure.”
