Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after high impact fall near Fishwick

A younger motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a ‘excessive influence’ fall close to Fishwick.

North West Ambulance Service and Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Crew had been referred to as on Sunday night after the incident. With the mountain rescue staff referred to as in, it’s unlikely the incident occurred on a important highway with quick access.

The casualty was stretchered by the mountain rescue staff to a close-by ambulance and brought to hospital. The incident occurred on Sunday (February 18) night.

A spokesperson for Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Crew stated: “Our help was requested on Sunday night to a motorcyclist who had suffered a excessive influence fall close to Fishwick.

“The casualty was given ache reduction and transferred onto one among our Vacuum Mattresses to immobilise and shield his backbone. Crew members then stretchered the younger man to the ambulance for switch to hospital.”
