Gunman fleeing crash arrested after breaking into Colorado Supreme Court docket constructing

A gunman accused of breaking into the Colorado Supreme Court docket constructing in Denver by taking pictures out a window early Tuesday has been arrested on prices of arson, theft and housebreaking.
Police mentioned it’s unlikely that the incident was associated to the Colorado Supreme Court docket’s resolution two weeks in the past that held that former President Donald Trump couldn’t seem on the state’s poll.

Police mentioned 44-year-old Brandon Olsen broke into the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Middle after he was concerned in a close-by automobile crash.
After getting into the constructing, Olsen grabbed a grasp key from an unarmed safety guard, fired extra pictures on the seventh flooring and began a hearth there, police allege. The sprinkler system extinguished the fireplace.
Police arrested Olsen at about 3 a.m. after he referred to as 911 and surrendered.
The judicial heart might be closed for a while due to “important water injury,” a spokesperson instructed the Denver Submit.
