TOCCOA, Ga. (TCD) — Officers arrested a 39-year-old man this week on suspicion of fatally stabbing his father and severely injuring his mom.
In accordance with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), on Thursday, Dec. 28, at roughly 7:40 a.m., the Stephens County Sheriff’s Workplace responded to a residence on Bart Holmcomb Street to a report of a person stabbed. Deputies found 63-year-old William Vaughn lifeless inside the house and located Christopher Vaughn locked inside a room. The sheriff’s workplace apprehended Christopher Vaughn on the scene.
The GBI mentioned officers situated one other sufferer, 62-year-old Janet Vaughn, inside a close-by residence with “substantial accidents.” She was airlifted to a hospital for remedy.
Christopher Vaughn is the son of Janet and William Vaughn, WAGA-TV stories.
