Delta man, 41, faces firearm charges after border services investigation

A 41-year-old Delta man is dealing with a slew of firearms and weapons prices after a search of his dwelling by border officers and an RCMP emergency response workforce.

The Canada Border Providers Company says Bryce Cameron McDonald is due again in courtroom on Friday after a search final 12 months turned up 5 weapons, eight high-capacity magazines, two auto sears — a tool used to transform pistols into computerized firearms — and a brass knuckle knife.

“Their work has eliminated prohibited firearms and components from our streets and helps to fight violent crime in our communities,” Nina Patel, director of the CBSA’s Pacific area, mentioned in a press release Tuesday.
