British Transport Police seek man in connection with hate crime between Chorley and Preston

Police need to converse to a person in reference to a hate crime incident onboard a prepare between Chorley and Preston.

British Transport Police have launched a CCTV image in reference to the incident which befell round 11.30am on Tuesday 19 December.

A British Transport Police spokesperson stated: “After roughly 5 minutes the girl stated she heard one of many males on his cell phone making antisemitic feedback. When the person seen the girl him, he put his cellphone away and proceeded to make threats of an antisemitic nature in direction of her and used foul language.

“About 5 minutes later the prepare arrived at Preston and the girl bought off the prepare. The 2 males additionally left the service at this station.”
