A consultant for the British Military has confirmed the drive’s requirement for a 120mm easy bore turret mounted mortar system for set up on the ARTEC Boxer (8×8) for deployment with the Armoured Brigade Fight Groups (ABCT).
The requirement was revealed throughout the Mortar Examine Day on the Oblique Fires Convention held in Bristol earlier this month.
Boxer has already been in manufacturing for the British Military to assist it meet its Mechanised Infantry Automobile (MIV) requirement of which the primary 4 variants would be the Infantry Service Automobile (ICV), Command Submit Automobile (CPV), Specialist Service (SC) and an ambulance (AMB).
